Ted Ellis
President/CEO
Mr. Ellis joined Idaho Timber in 1990 as the General Manager for the Home Center Division. In 1991, he was promoted to Vice President of Northern Divisions and over the next nine years oversaw additional divisions. In April of 2000, Mr. Ellis was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer. In 2005, Mr. Ellis was named Chief Executive Officer of Idaho Timber. Prior to joining Idaho Timber, Mr. Ellis served as General Sales and Marketing Manager at Canfor USA.
Ash Cockcroft
Vice President / CFO
- Joined Idaho Timber in Dec 2005 as Controller where he was responsible for coordinating all accounting operational functions, preparing internal and external financial statements as well as providing management with information to facilitate the decision-making process.
- Promoted to CFO and VP of Finance and Administration in Jan 2022.
- As CFO of Idaho Timber, he leads the Finance Team overseeing accounting, payroll, financial reporting, credit and information technology.
Before Idaho Timber, he worked for 7 years in public accounting for Deloitte
Dave Taugher
Vice President of Human Resources and General Counsel
Mr. Taugher joined Idaho Timber in 2000 as General Manager of Administration and Assistant General Counsel. In 2005, he was promoted to General Counsel. In July of 2007, he was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources. His responsibilities include managing human resources, legal and safety matters. Prior to joining Idaho Timber, Mr. Taugher served as Assistant General Counsel for Impact Sales, Inc. Mr. Taugher began his legal career working as in-house counsel for Albertsons, Inc.
